Advisor - Payments & Identity
John Erik Setsaas
With over 25 years’ experience in digital identity, John Erik is a pioneer in this space. He is a prolific speaker at fintech industry events around the world including Money20/20 Europe, idNext, MyData, Digital Finance World. Mobile World Congress, Trustech, KuppingerCole EiC and FinTech Connect.
He is now an independent identity expert.
He has previously worked for Signicat as VP of Identity of Innovation, Chief Development Architect for SAP Identity Management and taught ecommerce, identity services and security at Buskerud University College in Norway.
Advisor - Financial Services & Identity
Steve Pannifer
Steve is Managing Director at Consult Hyperion, a leading independent payments and identity consulting firm. He advises banks, governments and others around the world on digital identity strategy and implementation.
He is currently supporting the Scottish Government Digital Identity programme and is a member of the Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group for the UK Government. Steve has a technical background including security, cryptography and communications.

Hans Graux
Hans is an ICT lawyer at the Brussels based law firm Timelex (www.timelex.eu), which specialises in information and technology law.
He is a law school graduate who also obtained a complementary degree in IT. He become a lawyer at the bar of Brussels in 2005. In July 2007, he co-founded Timelex.
Recent work for the Commission has included projects focused on data protection, eSignatures, electronic identity management, cloud computing, e-government and information security. He is a member of the ICT Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).

Jana Krimpe
Jana is an accomplished visionary in e-Government as well as in digital identity and e-signature technology. Her professional experience includes a role as an Advisor in the Office for two consecutive Presidents of the Republic of Estonia. With 15+ years’ experience in implementing innovative ICT solutions, she has earned a strong reputation for success in international circles.
In 2022 Jana is recognized as one of the 30 most followed global LinkedIn Influencers. In 2019 and 2018, she was named in the U.S. based One World Identity’s top 100 Digital Identity influencers global list. The founder of B.EST Solutions, an award-winning leader in digital identity she is recognized by the likes of United Nations, OECD and NIST.

Steve Kemsley
Steve is a highly respected former Senior Police Officer responsible for leading strategic safety and security planning and management programmes for some of the world’s largest events such as the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
He specialises in developing and implementing safety, security and training programmes for assets, facilities and events and is a qualified Project Manager

Steffen Schwalm

Huma Shah
Huma gained her PhD in Cybernetics from Reading University in 2011 supervised by British Cyberneticist Professor Kevin Warwick. Huma worked as Research Fellow on the EU FP7 funded Robolaw project (RoboLaw). With Kevin Warwick, she co-authored the 2016 Cambridge University published book ‘Turing’s Imitation Game: Conversations with the Unknown’. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Coventry University’s school of Computing, Mathematics and Data Science.
Her latest invited talk was part of BCS Karen Spärck Jones Lecture 2023 - YouTube delivered in London 5 June 2023.

Steve Purser
Steve Purser is a renowned cybersecurity expert and leader, with over 35 years of experience in the field. He worked at ENISA for more than 15 years, where he oversaw the agency's core operational activities, such as threat analysis, incident response, standards and certification, and cyber crisis management. He is also a member of several steering boards and advisory committees, including the Steering Board of the CERT EU and the Programme Board of the EU Cyber Crime Centre. He is the author of 'A Practical Guide to Managing Information Security' and a frequent speaker and contributor to the cybersecurity community.
